MISSIONS

Agape provides support and services to Memphis-area children and families with the goal of providing healing before they enter foster care in an effort to keep them safe, smart, and successful through counseling; homeless services; and adoption and foster care while providing opportunities for them to grow in faith. 

The mission is to aid, equip, and empower those in need around the world in the name of Jesus Christ so they might experience God’s healing grace. This mission is fulfilled through the following programs: Clean Water, Hunger to Harvest, Women of Hope, Magi Project and Disaster Relief. 

Tennessee Children’s Home provides group home residential treatment, child and family counseling, and independent living programs. The purpose of TCH is to support, educate and provide Christian out-of-home care for children who are victims of abuse, dependent neglected, orphaned, and/or exploited, making all reasonable and practical efforts to provide services to meet their intellectual, emotional, physical and spiritual needs. 

Tanzania Mission - with Hoover Church of Christ as overseer - has built Bible schools in Arusha and Moshi. These schools teach the Bible to Christians and to anyone in the area who wants to learn more about God. A Preacher Training School was built on the outskirts of Arusha to train Africans to teach other Africans about Jesus. The school also promotes congregational strength and spiritual maturity, leading to their becoming self-supporting and self-propagating.

The Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort immediately responds to any major disaster in the United States, and US Territories by sending truckloads of emergency food, water, cleaning, and other supplies to be distributed to all disaster victims in the disaster area through a local Church of Christ. 

Rainbow Omega is a faith-based non-profit organization that provides vocational and residential programs to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  

The purpose of the organization is to provide a central distribution center for companies, groups, and individuals who wished to help provide food for hungry people.
