Bloom Where Planted

This is a picture of a tomato plant growing beside our dumpster at the church building. I took the picture maybe a month ago, but when I ran last night, it was still there and had grown. It reminds me of the old saying: “Bloom where you are planted.” It is crazy to think that this tomato is growing in a crack of asphalt beside a dumpster in the beginning of November. It is growing despite its obstacles. The devil wants you not to grow in the Lord and will do his best to put obstacles in your path. Will you quit and give up or keep growing? 2 Peter 3:18 says, “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
